Car problem - doesnt idle correctly when driving and it hesitates.

I am having an issue with my car and need some help. I have a 95 camaro v6, and it cranks and idles fine if its just sitting but sometimes when Im driving down the road it loses speed and the rpms go down then every thing kick back in and then its ok. It only done this to me a few times but the last time I drove it it completely dived and said to "check gauges". Is this the fuel pump going out? Do you have any clue what might be causing this?

It sounds like a fuel related issue. I would recommend checking fuel pressure. There are directions on our homepage under the DIY section. AS far as the check gauges light, that comes on to tell you if something is low, like oil pressure. It also indicates if the temp is too hight. Check pump pressure and let me know what you find.
