1995 Astro van

I have a 1995 astro van. I can drove for about 7 miles then the engine light comes on and it wants to stall when I am slowing down. I just had a tune up but that didnt fix the problem.I keep thinking it is a fuel problem but the mechanic doesnt think so.

Clean the throttle-body and check the iac. Any applicable trouble codes? If your fully obd1 compliant, you can check those codes yourself. With intermittent issues, you have to test when problem is ongoing.
