You need to have the battery tested make sure the battery cables are clean and tight?ALso do you have a test light to do some testing? Check to see if you are getting power to the starter. Also, check the neutral safety switch.

Use a digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off. The generic spec for a full charge is around 12.6 volts. You can also leave the meter leads hooked to battery posts, have helper turn key to crank. If the voltage reading drops below about 9 volts, have the battery tested and charged. You also need to check the charging system. Make sure all battery connections are clean and tight on both ends.
