1994 Viper RT/10 Stalled and will not re-start - No Spark

I was driving my viper off and on over a 2 day period and had a couple of incidents where I turned it off and it cranked a long time (turned the key off and on number of times) before it finally started. It acted like the alarm didn't reset. I set and re-set the alarm a few times to get it to start once. Then, driving home from work I was sitting at a light and the engine just shut off. It would not re-start no matter what I did. Plenty of battery but acted like the alarm system was on.

Got it towed and left it in my driveway that night. Checked the next day and no spark. I put a plug in a disconnected plug wire and nothing. Re-positioned the plug to make sure it was grounded and the damned thing started up. I pulled it into the garage and turned it off and it hasn't started since. I can hear the fuel pump running and verified that when it wasn't starting it had no spark.

What order would you reccommend troubleshooting? Does this pattern actually suggest the ASD relay (Auto Shut Down)? Does it suggest the ECM? Any help woukld be appreciated before I just start replacing parts. The damned ASD Relay is buried under the AC or I would have replaced that already just coz it;'s the cheapest :-)

Thanks for any advice. I have a service manual for what its worth.

Thanks HMAC. Behavior did not suggest a fuse (intermittent but mostly non-op) so I just plowed ahead with removing the fan housing and relay pack. Subbed the AC relay for the ASD and it started right up. Switched back and it would not start. Pretty definitive. Now comes the search for a replacement :-(

Thanks everyone. Sounds like checking for spark, then substituting the ASD for another relay (whereupon I solved the problem) and then checking the ECM is the right path.
