Check the transmission fluid for any anti-freeze. The transmission fluid is run through the radiator to cool the fluid and if the transmission cooling lines got a hole in them, it will suck coolant straight from the radiator.

Also check for excessive smoke coming from the exhaust, as the coolant could be going straight into the combustion chamber.
