My 1994 Subaru Loyale Base 4 Cyl 1.8L stalls out at 1500 or less RPM. It stalls out when idling and when switching gears. I replaced the Mass Air Flow Sensor and that worked for a day. The next morning I was back to the same problem.

Try cleaning the throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner and idle air control valve. Ther eis apic on tune up on site here. If it still does it get the engine scanned.
