My 1994 Saturn Wagon SW2 odometer and trip stopped working. Everything else works fine. I read posts saying it was probably some kind of switch that needs to be replaced but I don't know what it's called or where to get it.

If just the odometer and miles stopped advancing while driving? Then you have a broken odometer gear on the speedometer miles assembly. You have to remove the cluster assembley take it all apart and remove the speedometer mileage gear assembly and replace the gear or gears. If your intrested in the details let me know.

I'm definitely interested in the details, thanks very much. Neither the odometer or the trip work any time. The other gauges are fine though.

I posted the link where i got the gear to fix my sisters odometer i only replaced her 25 tooth gear i didn't replace the other gear. Its usually the 25 tooth that breaks. They used a oil based lube on the gears when they built them and it weakened the gear over time and caused them all to break.I also posted a link on how to replace the gear. Its up to you if you replace both gears or not.
