I had to replace my power window assembily. Now my window doesn't go up and down evenly. Causing it to jump the track. What do I need to adjust to make this stop happening?

Is there a hole toward the back of window? Some makes and models, there is clip that goes in that hole, the other part of clip rides in the rear vertical track, holds the window level.

Hi jdl hope your having a great new year. Just to add to this answer So you replaced the motor and regulator? Were they new part's or used part's. The best way To adjust those regulator's is to loosen up the side bolt's and the bolt's facing you that are just below where the window glass bolt's on. Then guide the glass up while rolling the window up till the window rest's in the fully upright position. Then tighten up the four bolt's. That is the best way to adjust those regulators.

JDL - There are no holes or clips.
Saturntech 9 - It's 1994 so yes, it's used :) and yes, replaced both the Motot & regulator.

Side bolt? There are 3 bolts (now - orginally, they are riveted in there) that hold the motor and the non-scissor lower track of the regulator is held in with 2 screws. The rest of the window is only track and no additional screws.

Alright the only adjustment on the front window regulator is that 10mm bolt on the left side as your facing the inside of the door. There is a short slot you can move it up and down in the slot to adjust the level of the window. Or you could have a bent window regulator.

OK, I am holding out hope for a non-bent regulator. So just to make sure.I should play with the left of the 2 lower bolts (the one in the shot) to see which higher or lower makes the window drive correctly. Gotcha. Suggestions on up or down to try first? Ah, looks like another hour in the garage this weekend :) - thanks I'll try that.

You really need to just play with it up and down if you have the the two bolt adjustment then you have the first design one the second design one only has one bolt which I think is a better design. Good luck let me know how it come's out.

Thank you, I was hoping this would be simple. Moving a bolt up & down sounds simpler than replacing the whole window or something worse. I will let you know how it goes and which way it needed to go. Thanks again.
