The engine check light periodically comes on and goes off after a minute or so. I checked the oil and it is fine. Could it be the oil sending unit? Where is it located. And what should I check? Thankyou.

1994 Nissan Hardbody XE (KAE24) - The check engine light periodically comes on. A minute or two and then goes off. I checked the oil level and it is fine. Could this be the oil sending unit? . And where is t located.
