Wondering what the average cost is to repair a starter solenoid? Or a starter? Or is it all done at the same time? Going to be using used parts

If this is the little silver Nippendenso starter, don't waste your time with used parts. It is extremely common for the solenoid contacts to wear away causing an intermittent loud clunk with a no-crank condition. With used parts, you'll be doing the same repair all over again soon. New contacts cost less than 20 bucks. It takes about an hour to replace them.
