The back windows are stuck down because my top wont go down
I already switched the toggle switch and there is a clicking when I press it.I was thinking it may need oil in the hydraulic pump but I have it on manual right now. The car sat for about 8 years.

You might try using a rubber mallet n inside of interior panel smack it and that sometimes breaks the motor loose so it will go up. Or if it's a door slam it hard and that may do the same thing. As long as you know it's getting power because the wires can break in door or switches can go bad.

The problem is the back windows and the convertible top are all one entity what can I check to see why it wouldn't possibly be working could it be a fuse or something in that nature what kind of oil can I use for the hydraulic pump maybe that's a problem I wish I could figure it out but I don't think the rubber mallet is the right idea the motor to the to the whole thing is in the trunk well the pump I mean thank you for your time

Ok there are 4 relays for the windows and one fuse. The fuse is on the component panel in trunk as well as relays. There are two for up and two for down, one each window. You can see if they are getting and putting power out to the window. You may be able to jump them to see if it's a motor or power i'm pretty sure that you need to jump the grn/brn wire and the grn wht wire to get motor to go up. But this could also be a module problem so have that checked as well see pics.

Thank you one last question, what type of oil do I use for the hydraulic pump / motor? The back to rear windows and the convertible top are all connected to one switch and none of it works so I will try jumping the wires but I'm thinking it might be out of oil too just so you know must know I'm a girl and I don't know a lot about cars so I really really appreciate your help

I put a new fuse in a cause it was burned out I switch the relays the fuse was burned out I can't figure out how to jump the wires without cutting them I still would like to know what type of oil I can use as I'm not sure if there's any in it I hear no clicking noise anymore so it could just be the wiring help I'm distraught and I can't afford all the money is going to cost for an electrician to look at it

They don't give us what type of fluid to use but hydraulic fluid would be ok it shold be at auto parts. If in a pinch uses trans mission fluid atf. Also you need to pull the plugs out of the relays to jump the wires. If the pump /reservoir is low on fluid it will have to be bled to get the air out so a pro will have to do it.

There is a very special fluid to use. Advance Auto or any auto store should be able to tell you what you must use for your car.
