I have a 94 gmc z-71 pickup with a 5.7. Engine runs great when its cold but hesitates and stalls after its warmed up and I give it gas. I have changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, pcv, fuel filter, check timing. It idles good cold or warm. Any ideas? I got this truck from relatives and it ran much worse when I got it.

I would have the fuel pressure checked. It could be low causing this issue.

I wouls suspect an overheating ignition component. To many to guess at.I would have it checked out at a local shop.

I forgot to tell you that if I mash the gas it runs good. Also i've had it put on a computer and no codes show up. Almost feels like the choke is stayin on. What about the engine temp sensor? Does that control the fuel mix?
