Someone answered my question. The got the second part about the atf fluid. Thats fine now. The problem was in the first part of my questions. Car runs fine in lower speeds below 40. Higher speeds pedal to the floor rpm's way up, and car takes forever to engage. If it does engage.

Is the trans slipping in the upper gears? Does it grab at all?

It is slipping in the upper gears. It does grab eventually.
