Hey Guys,
I'm reiterating this question, the answer from 2009 is vague.

I have a 94 Ford Escort Wagon, 1.9L Automatic with the strangest problems. When I turn off the car and remove the key, the heater (A/C) blower and the windshield wipers will continue to operate. Also, the A/C button will light if pushed while the fan is blowing, as when the car is running. These issues are not major; we just have to remember to turn everything off whenever we park the car. I replaced ignition cylinder and switch 2 yrs ago. I've checked fuse ex/internal. This all happened after running the a/c for a while while parked on a lunch break.
Have you seen anything like this before or know where I can look?

It is possible you either installed the wrong key cylinder or it is faulty. Seems to be allowing ignition voltage to accessory components all the time. It is only supposed to power up wipers and a/c system with key on. Supposed to cut power to those things with key off. Check you ignition cylinder.

Check for a bad ground for the blower that is bad an d is keeping it powered up. The ground is on the left side of instrument panel. Without actually seeing this kind makes it hard for a correct diagnosis. Also check grounds on engine as well as battery to body ground as there should be one there as well.
