Runs great until it reaches operating temp

Runs great until it reaches operating temp. Then cuts out and pops through the throttle body. If you let it set approximately 1/2 hour it will run fine sometimes for a few weeks before it happens again. Replaced plugs and wires and cleaned idle air control valve.

Does this happen driving down the highway or just idle, maybe both? Are there any applicable trouble codes? You should be able to check mil codes, yourself. If it is temp related, check the coolant temp sensor. Also, The 02 sensor is part of a tune-up.

Just wanted to add, to check mil codes, turn key just till dash lites come on, no further, cycle key, on--off, on--off, on. Then the mil on the dash starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. Your looking for two digit codes.
