1994 chevy s10 4.3 engine light comes on after engine is warmed up and driven for a while come up with code 32 EGR valve. Replaced with new EGR valve still having the light and rough idle after light comes on what else could cause this?

Recheck the EGR valve and passages for carbon-if okay test the wiring back to the computer for short/open circuit-

Having same problem with my '92 S10, 4.3. If carbon isn't the problem, you might have a vacume leak, or a vacume hose problem. Check to see if the vacume control solenoid (the part that connects to the EGR valve via a vacume tube) is working. At idle that part should have vacume coming from it. Otherwise you have a vacume leak. Somewhere ! Happy hunting. As I am.
