Car stumbles upon acceleration and when climbing hills. Had Distributor shaft replaced approx. 4000 miles ago. Troubleshooting in Haynes manual points to Timing but don't know how to check or correct with this model. Any advice would be helpful.I can't afford another trip to the shop! Thank You, Mike

Just for test purposes, drive the vehicle around in drive instead of od, does it act any better? I have a 92 roadmaster, it acts-up on hills. I can shift from over-drive to drive and the problem goes away. 99 percent of the time, my tranny works ok. I'm just too lazy to worry about it. Lol
