Your Question

I have a 1994 318i with 160K miles, it has been sitting for about a month. I started it yesterday and it was coughing and missing badly. I checked and pulled the plugwires. One of the plug wire sleeves was dripping in oil. Any ideas as how bad this may be?

It means you have a leaky valve cover gasket, clean it up and replace all the sparkplugs, once it gets done smoking, it should be OK.
