It shows the fuel gadge is half but its empty it move up when fueling up how do I fix it 1994 citi golf must I remove the fuel thank or are there another why please help me me or are the fuel younet broken I see the wearing coming out the fuel thank

1993 should be the A3 Mk3 body style. If yes, remove the round access cover in the trunk and disconnect the harness plug from the
sensor / fuel pump.

Turn the key ON, does the fuel gauge still sit at 1/2?
