LEAKING OIL how do you get the valve cover off to change the gasket?

Remove bolts. Turn them counter-clockwise. You may need to remove the plug wires. Use a pen to write which plug # they go to.

I assume you are referring to the 4 cylinder. This one has no bolts. Remove the 4 plug wires and at each spark plug hole there is a large nut that has to be removed and then the cover will lift off.
