It is best to change the oil when it is hot, this will help drain more oil and loosen carbon deposits, remove the drain plug and remember that hot oil will burn! Discard the seal and fit a new plug seal, allow the oil to drain, it will drip for some time, so give it about enough time to go make a coffee and drink it. Re it the plug and tighten, replace the filter, this will be a spin on type, it may be tight so be wary, it will be a R/H thread, wet the seal of the filter with a little oil, and add some into the filter and do it up, normally about 3/4 turn after seal touches, basically as tight as you can with one hand, add oil and run to fill filter, re check level and add if required,
