My laser originally came with a 2.0 non turbo, I purchased a used 93 2.0 turbo engine and installed it by replacing the turbo exhaust with my original non turbo exhaust, the motor runs very well however, the idle runs up and down between approx. 1000 and 1400 RPM about every 1-2 seconds, not when its cold, but the minute I put it in gear and go it stars Oscillating

Are you f****NG kidding me? You answer my question with a question. Of course I changed the computer. WHAT "ALL"! DO I HAVE TO CHANGE, OR DO TO MAKE A TURBO MOTOR A NON-TURBO MOTOR? The motor runs and drives very good! However the idle Oscillates up and down, between approx. 1000 and 1400 RPM.

Did it do this right from the get go? Generally speaking, a lean condition will cause idle surge.
