When applying the brakes, brake problem

Sounds like your front brake rotors are warped. You will usually feel it in the steering wheel while braking. If that is the case, I would suggest replacing the rotors, rather than machining them. The thinner the rotors, the more likely the problem will occur again. The price for new rotors versus machining and time makes it not worth the hassle.

You will have to get the rotors measured first as they may be below or near min thickness, fit new rotors if the machining will take the rotors below the min allowable thickness, the work shop doing this will have all the measurements.
