How do I bleed the air out of the rack and pinion steering that I have just replaced?

The pump should do this.

With engine running, turn the steering from lock to lock and top up the fluids when level drops. When level stabilises, bleeding is complete.

It would be easier to have the front wheels off the floor while doing this.
