Hi its Adam I have a vr v8 ran it out of fuel put it back in it start but it idle but not rev some tell me its the pump I got a new one and still the same its got good spark

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump- start here

I cant check the pressure because I dont have a gauge dont have to many $$$

Change the filter as it may be blocked with muck from the tank when you run it dry, these pumps do not like running dry, they can fail quickly as the fuel keeps then cool.

I pull the filter off and blow down it clean as no block or muck
