I have an automatic 93 Mustang GT with a brand new engine, transmission, and starter. When I turn the car and try to put it in reverse or drive it wont budge. And yes the wheel is straight. What do I do?

Thanks for your help. By the way I was told by triple A that pushing the car back and forth from either ends of the car can help. I dont know how to say exactly why, but it must help the drivetrain connect with the transmission or something along those lines.
