I have a 1993 f350 7.3 non turbo. Diesel truck that idles from 1000 to 1500 when. It is turned on what could it be?

Have you checked the linkage to the throttle actuator? Sometimes it can stick causing a high idle condition. Also, I have seen water in the fuel cause this issue as well. Please let us know what you find :-) Thanks for using 2Carpros. Com
