Switch

Removal

Remove the multi-function switch as explained in this section.
Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector.
Remove the three ignition switch mounting screws and remove the ignition switch.

Installation

Position the ignition switch and install the three mounting screws.
Connect the ignition switch electrical connector.
Install the multi-function switch as explained in this section.
Check for proper operation.

Removal

Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Section 11-04.
Remove the four screws from the steering column lower cover. Remove the lower cover.

Remove the steering column upper cover.
Disconnect the three multi-function switch electrical connectors.
Remove the multi-function switch retaining screw.

Pull the multi-function electrical connectors from the retaining brackets and remove the switch.

Installation

Press the multi-function switch electrical connectors into the retaining brackets and position the multi-function switch.
Install the multi-function switch retaining screw.
Connect the three multi-function switch electrical connectors.
Install the steering column upper cover.
Position the steering column lower cover and install the four retaining screws.
Install the steering wheel. Refer to Section 11-04.
Check for proper operation.
