Alright, I got a 93 bronco with the 5.0. We just got it to idle fine by moving the distributor around. But now when in park or neutral, you rev it up as much as you want, when its in drive or reverse however, it chokes down and is running way too rich, only in drive tho and causes it to pop threw the intake. Can ya'll help me?

Do a compression test on it, backfires thru the intake is a sign of a worn camshaft, or low fuel pressure.

Well I did a compression test and all the cylinders are good. I pulled the spark plugs off however and every single one of them were fouled. Excessive carbon bulit up. Put brand new spark plugs in and when put on a load, it has absolutly no take off. Low fuel pressure?

Low fuel pressure or clogged Cataltic converter(s) or clogged exhaust. Use a vacuum gauge, set rpm to 2000, watch gauge if it slowoly drops, the exhaust is clogged. Test fuel pressure like this.
