Built into the throttle body. Problems with it are just about unheard of. What are the symptoms?

Try this.
Make sure the car is in park and open the hood.

2
On the non-turbocharged engine, locate the air cleaner assembly. The air cleaner assembly is rectangular and sits parallel to the firewall. The air cleaner cover has three large nuts that hold it in place. Remove the nuts and lift the air cleaner assembly. You may need to remove vacuum hoses to completely remove the air cleaner assembly.

3
Locate the throttle body. The throttle body is located under the air cleaner.

4
Locate the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pressure regulator is a small, cylindrical device that sits in the center of the throttle body. It is held in place with three screws.

Turbocharged Engine
1
Make sure the car is in park and open the hood.

2
Locate the fuel rail on the engine. The fuel rail is the pipe that delivers fuel to the fuel injectors and the cold start valve.

3
Locate the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pressure regulator is a cylindrical device attached to the end of fuel rail with two screws. You will see a vacuum hose on the top and a fuel hose on the bottom.
