Engine no start?

Started truck today only ran a couple seconds and shut off. Check engine and check gauges lights came on. No code registered in computer. I can hear the fuel pump running till prime then shuts off. I have fuel at the filter on the frame but not at the lines on the back of the carb. Weird thing is while I'm watching for the computer code I see the oil pressure gauge moving while the key is on and engine not running.

Hello,

This sounds like you lost the ignition module in the distributor. Here is a guide to show you how to replace it.

Check out the diagrams (Below)

That was it thanks for the tip I got one for $56.99 and installed it took about 20 minutes everything good now, Thanks for you help I cant believe this site is free.
