I have a 1992 subaru layole. It had water in the oil when I changed it. It does have an oil leak. It does not over heat or smoke. Where is the leak coming from?

If you have water in your oil, you either have a blown head gasket or intake gasket. The oil leak is the least of your worries.

However, if you still want to find the leak, fill it with oil, run the motor until it reaches operating temp, then shut it off. Next jack up car and place it on stands with something behind the rear wheels (Don't forget to engage the parking brake). Then look for the leak.
