AS FAR AS I KNOW BRUMBY USES THE TYPE EA81 ENGINE WHICH HAS NO TIMING BELT. IN MY COUNTRY THIS MODEL WAS NOT ON THE MARKET. ONLY THE PREVIOUS 1979 AND 1980 (I AM HAPPY THAT I HAVE ONE IN A VERY GOOD CONDITION ) THE THING IS THAT BRUMBY WAS THE NAME OF THE SUBARU PICK UP >1981 ONLY IN AUSTRALIA. ANY WAY IT WAS SOLD AND IT IS WITH THE L SERIES (LEONE) UNTIL NEXT LEONE CAME(1987). THOSE IN 1.8LIT HAD THE EA82 TYPE ENG, WHICH HAS TWO TIMING BELTS, (ONE FOR EACH SIDE OF THE BLOCK). NO MATTER CARB. OR INJ. EDIT. I SUPPOSE YOU ARE IN AUSTRALIA AND THE BRUMBY WAS IN THE MARKET (AS NEW) >1994. WITH THE EA8I TYPE? SORRY FOR THE BIG STORY. HAPPY TO INFORM YOU.
