JUST BOUGHT MY 1992 3.1 LTR TURBO DIESEL jACKAROO, The dust boots on the front axle and cv joints are damaged, how do I remove and replace them, I Have no Manual it is a 4x4, do Ineed to remove the front wheel and brake rotor to slip the axle, s out and put the boots on regards Stan

Yes you do. Make sure that you clean and check the joints before putting the boots back on and you must put in new grease. You may want to check on the price of an axle assembly so you can weigh out your decision if theres any doubt of the integrity of the joints. They generally aren't very expensive
