Can you give me step by step on how to change eletronic control module on a 1992 taurus 3.0 liter

First, make sure you have the correct ECM. Disconnect the battery before working on the vehicle. Next, disconnect the wiring harness to the ECM. Unbolt the ECM from the vehicle. Mount the new ECM and attach the wiring harness to it. When everything is done, reconnect the battery.
