Where do you jumper the circuit on a 1992 Chrysler Lebaron to force the air conditioning compressor to run so I can re-charge the system?

This is the incorrect way to do a re gas, you can over charge the system and do serious damage, if you have no refrigerant you have a leak, get the system vacuumed down and do a leak test first. But if you must hot wire it, jump 12V to the compressor clutch wire.

I tried that wire and clutch did not engage, I was trying to determine whether the compressor was working or not by jumping it.

If the clutch is being powered-up and not engaging the compressor the magnetic clutch is defective
