I replace my catalytic converter on my 1992 chevrolet suburban 2500 V8. However I still have a terrible shaking upon acceleration. I also hear a sound that sounds like a exaust leak but I cannot find it. What could be the problem

New plugs is only part of a tune-up. How long since overall tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Use a gauge and check fuel pressure. What about motor mounts and suspension/steering?

Any applicable trouble codes? You should be able to check those, yourself. Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure. You may to put up a depost for the gage, but, you get it back when the gage is returned.
