1992 Chevrolet Silverado tranny leak

Tranny was overfilled and I have truck loaded plus pulling u haul trailer. When going up a steep hill tranny fluid poured out and round cap that goes on driver side of tranny came off. Hard to tell where it is leaking from n was very hot. Put fluid in again n it drove ok but fluid leaked out again.
