My front left tire bounces when I accelerate forward but its doesn't do it when its coasting.

Its a Buick Century Custom 6cyl 3.3L Automatic Front Wheel Drive With 218,000 on it.

Have your struts checkedthey are probably bad.

When I jacked up the front off the ground only the left one would do it and not the right. So would it still be the struts or could it be the CV axle on that tire. And I bounced and rotated my tires too.

Yes it's still the struts. The onen on the one side is frozen. You'll need to get struts and a front end alignment as well
