My fan works fine on the interior. Sometimes the air-conditioning does not work at all, the fan just blows warm air. Other times the air works perfectly. Apparently the charge is ok. What to check?

This can be a couple of things the cable inside car may not be opening blend door all the way, the compressor clutch slips or low on Freon have a pro look at it and do a performance test on it.
