I am replacing the starter on my car. Only problem is I have now found a black wire that I am not sure that hooks up to the starter or not.
its v6 4 cam. Has a hook up on the side facing the gril and a blue wire on the side facing the driver. The blakc wire I think is a ground but not sure if it goes to teh starter or not

The black will be a earth, place it on the starter mounting bolt if it will reach, they are normally fitted there.

Ther should only be 2 wires on the starter the main battery feed and the solenoid wire and that should be a black red wire the solid blak will be an earth.
