Hi I have an Isuzu Stylus 1991 Xs model and my dad crashed it 17 years ago, and havent started ever since. I've been traying to work on it this month and I have a little problem. I bought starting fluid and the car start like for 3 and the engine doesn't continues to run. I want to know what may be the problem that the car wont continue to run (stay on).

First, change every fluid in the car before attempting to start it.

Drain all fuel from the tank, have it acid flushed and new fuel added. Remove lines and injectors and have them all cleaned.

All this needs to be done first otherwise you risk damaging the engine.
