I cannot remove the lower mounting bolt on the rear strut. The impact wrench has no affect. Does the bolt have a knurled portion on the bolt shaft near the bolt head ? If it does how can I push out the bolt? There is so little room at the nut end of the bolt.

Re 91 Inifiniti rear strut lower mounting bolt. I finally thru caution to the wind. I put a 17MM socket on a breaker bar and extended the 18" bar by instaling a 3' pipe on the breaker bar handle and put my foot and body weight on the end of the pipe. This broke the freeze of the bolt and the impact wrench enabled the nut to be removed. The bolt removal was made by making a space between the bolt head and the strut mounting by a hammered flat screwdriver and using the claw end of a carpenter's hammer I was able to pry the bolt out of the strut and vehicle holding connection.
The bolt did not have a knurl on the bolt shaft.
I have done other work on my Infinitit and should either of you 2carpros
