Car is Reving High when hot and flatening new battery

We have replaced alternator and is still Reving High when hot and flatening the new battery causing. When car is then turned off and restarted it wont turn over.

Did you test the charging of the alternator? Not all replacement parts works correctly. If there is a break in continuity between alternator main wire and battery, the altternator would be providing charge but it is not getting to the battery.
