You have listed something wrong here the year of your car or the size of the engine?Because I can't find a 4.6L engine for a 1991 crown victoria?

Thank you for the responce.I probably should say that this is on a spedcial application, but using the ford trigger sensor and modual. This system covers years 90to 95, with a 4.6 litre motor. I'm on my own and would like to test it myself using my mutimeter. I understand that there is an ohm factor that is called for. Thanks for your help

I found the 4.6L listed for the 1992 crown vic so you have no spark?Do you have any codes?Iam having trouble finding the ohms specs for that sensor. All the sensors like that I have seen when they go bad they read as a open circuit no ohms value at all. Have you checked to see if thats what yours read?

Is it a two wire sensor? If so you should see 450-800 ohms.

Thank you. Yes it is a two wire. I get 615 mounted in place in the center of a tooth on the crank trigger. Bill
