I am having problems with my 91 s10 2.8 fuel gauge not working how do I check the current going to or coming from fuel tank to gauge? I change sending units the gas hand will come down to half way then goes back up to pass full never drops down on empty?

Make sure there is good ground going to the sending unit. On the hot wire make sure it is a blinking light with a test light. It cold be hte gauge as well.
