1991 Chevy Corsica - Extremely High Idle

Got a 91 corsica 205000km 4 cylinder auto. Was running with no problems, then other day started it and it was revving extremely high (no tac), when changed to reverse or drive the idle speed would drop but still high. When put into drive without touching the gas car would reach 50 km/h. Check engine light came on a couple of times for a minute. Any ideas? Thanks

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.

Thanks, just need to find one that fits my car, the ones my buddys all I've are 96 and newer. I have temporarily unplugged the wires from the IACV and manually adjusted that and it's getting me by so far. Thanks for your help!
