You need to get the abs scanned to see what if any sensor is bad/broken wire etc. A pro will have to do this as auto parts scanners don't work. It could also be a normal brake problem as well but get scanned first.

Hello, I have what I believe is a Bosch 2U ABS system on my 93' Chevy Caprice. About a year ago 175k during winter in slushy conditions I noticed the ABS light on dash coming on and the system failed to function. It started working again, but then finally failed and light is permanently on. I checked code in system and it says code 61-faulty pump motor relay or faulty pump motor. What procedure would you follow to troubleshoot the cause?-(I'm pretty handy and have a couple test meters.) Should I start by cleaning up corrosion/checking connections?

First check the anti lock relay The enable relay is located on the right side of the engine compartment, bolted to the fender apron.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Disconnect the electrical connection.
Remove the 1 bolt and remove the relay from the fender apron.
Also check these fuses ATO20-BP
