The car died at a stop light, my daughter went to start it and it won't turn over. However all lights come on there is power to the starter and even put jumping cables on to see if that helps and made no difference. So the question I have is when it died and there's no crank over just nothing even with power to starter. So I'm thinking if the solenoid is bad on starter can that cause the car to die? Like if it lost its power source inside of solenoid. I just trying to figure out why it died and yet won't crank over. Any ideas?
