I got the inside of your car wet and now it won’t try to start. Does it sounds like the computer (ECU) (since it is under the carpet). Would it make sense to buy a used one?

No used stuff.
How wet? Did you check for spark, fuel pressure and compression?
Does the check engine light work?

Look at fuses first as it may have involved the fuse boxes and blew the main fuse.
Look for many, many electrical problems from here. Flooding does an enormous amount of long term damage to a car.
